Global Trust in Indian Youth Rises on Skills and Values: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Indian youth during his address at the National Cadet Corps (NCC) rally held at Kariyappa Ground in New Delhi. He highlighted the growing global demand for Indian young professionals, attributing it to their skills, values, and professionalism.

Addressing the NCC cadets, PM Modi said, “I had declared from the Red Fort that this is the right time, the opportune time for the youth of our nation. Today is a time filled with immense opportunities for them. The government is committed to ensuring that our youth benefit maximally during this period. A recent example is the historic Free Trade Agreement signed between India and Europe.”

The Prime Minister emphasized the trust the world places in Indian youth, stating, “This trust stems from their skills and cultural values. Indian youth embody democratic values and respect for diversity. They see the world as one family, which helps them integrate easily wherever they go and win the hearts of people.”

He added, “We contribute to the development of the countries we work in, which reflects our inherent values — deep respect for our motherland and unmatched dedication to our workplace. This is our heritage. Based on my interactions with world leaders, I can confidently say Indian youth are not only hardworking but also highly professional, which is why their demand is so high globally.”

PM Modi cited the example of Indian professionals in Gulf countries, saying, “Millions of Indians have been working there for years. Our doctors and engineers are building excellent healthcare and infrastructure. Indian teachers have added new value to societies abroad. The world acknowledges these contributions as well as the achievements of youth in India. Because of these young people, India has become the backbone of information technology globally. Their strength has sparked new revolutions in startups, space, and digital technology.”
