Mumbai, April 14: After captivating audiences with his powerful role in “The Revenge,” Sanjay Dutt is set to return to the big screen with his upcoming film “Aakhri Sawal.” This film will tackle sensitive and pressing questions that often spark controversy across the nation.
Recently, the second impactful teaser of this highly anticipated film was released. It offers a profound glimpse into the historical dialogue between Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of the RSS, generating excitement among viewers.
Scheduled for release in theaters on May 15, the second teaser raises several questions alongside its suspenseful tone. It attempts to depict the conversation that took place in Wardha in 1934 between Gandhi and Dr. Hedgewar. In the teaser, Gandhi states, “Casteism will destroy India one day,” while Hedgewar asserts that there is no place for casteism in the RSS.
The teaser portrays Dr. Hedgewar’s character in a notably aggressive and serious demeanor. The dialogue between Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Hedgewar has always been a topic of discussion and debate. Some believe that Gandhi was influenced by the RSS’s operational methods and the discipline present there, particularly the absence of caste discrimination, which attracted him. Additionally, the presence of only “Bharat Mata” images instead of deities in offices was also noteworthy. However, Gandhi also held ideological disagreements with the RSS.
It is significant to note that both Mahatma Gandhi’s Sevagram Ashram and the RSS’s main center are located in Wardha district.
Previously, a teaser for the film was released, showcasing Sanjay Dutt in a powerful role. It posed the question of why the RSS, when banned, could not be labeled an anti-national organization. Sanjay Dutt will address these questions in the film. The film will also reveal several controversial aspects related to the political implications of the disputed structure. Following the teaser, anticipation for the film’s trailer has significantly increased.
