Mumbai, 18 August (Kiran News): Five members of a single family lost their lives in a fire that broke out at a furniture shop located in Nevasa Phata, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. As soon as information about the fire was received, a fire brigade team rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze. The Ahilyanagar police team is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
A police official involved in the investigation stated on Monday that the fire broke out around 1 am last night at Mayur Furniture in Nevasa, Ahilyanagar. Upon receiving the alert, both the fire brigade and police teams immediately reached the site. Due to the presence of highly flammable materials in the furniture shop, it took time to bring the fire under control. As a result, five family members sleeping in the shop tragically lost their lives in the blaze.
The deceased have been identified as Mayur Arun Rasane (45), Payal Mayur Rasane (38), Ansh Mayur Rasane (10), Chaitanya Mayur Rasane (7), and an elderly woman. The fire brigade team managed to fully control the fire by this morning. Police are investigating the exact cause of the fire at the incident site.
