First International Film Festival Shines in New Delhi with Stars Like Nandamuri Balakrishna and Enrique Arce

New Delhi, March 26: The vibrant atmosphere of New Delhi was illuminated by the presence of stars at the inaugural International Film Festival. Renowned figures from Hindi and South Indian cinema graced the event, including Aamir Khan and casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna also made a notable appearance, expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Rekha for organizing the festival.

During the festival, Balakrishna remarked, “It was a great experience to have Chief Minister Rekha inaugurate the event. It’s a joyous occasion that the capital of our country is hosting its first film festival, attracting prominent film personalities.”

Director Juan Manuel Montilla also attended the ceremony. In a conversation with the media, he expressed his surprise, stating, “I am truly amazed as I know this is the first edition of this wonderful festival, and I am confident it will not be the last.”

The festival also saw the participation of international artists. Spanish actor Enrique Arce was delighted to be part of the inaugural event. He shared with the media, “I am very happy to be in Delhi and to be part of the first edition of the film festival. I hope this is not the last. Yesterday’s ceremony was fantastic. I learned a lot about Indian films, cinematography, and the new actors. I will definitely follow this from now on.”

Member of Parliament, screenwriter, and film director Vishwa Vijayendra Prasad also shared his thoughts on the festival. He expressed that he had been waiting for such an event for a long time. “I have often wondered why, despite being the capital of India, Delhi has not hosted this festival until now. Fortunately, people have finally recognized the importance of organizing a film festival in Delhi,” he stated.
