Looking at the Panchang for February 23, it falls on a Monday and marks the sixth date of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Phalguna.
This date will remain until 9:09 AM, after which the seventh date will commence. Mondays are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Chandra Dev. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva, performing Rudrabhishek, and observing a fast on this day can fulfill one’s wishes. Additionally, the blessings of the moon enhance mental peace, health, and family happiness. Women especially observe fasts on Mondays to worship Shiva and Parvati, ensuring a harmonious married life.
Monday is an excellent day for Shiva devotion, moon worship, and fasting. Offer milk, water, and Bilva leaves along with other worship materials at the Shiva Lingam. In the evening, light a lamp and perform Aarti at the Shiva temple after observing the fast.

It is also essential to consider inauspicious timings. On Monday, Rahu Kaal will be from 8:18 AM to 9:44 AM, Yamgand from 11:09 AM to 12:35 PM, and Gulika Kaal from 2:00 PM to 3:26 PM. It is advisable not to start any new work or travel during these periods.
