Farmers Are the Nations Fate Makers: CM Mohan Yadav Promises No Migration from Bundelkhand

Datia, March 25: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently announced significant development initiatives in Datia district, emphasizing that the Bundelkhand region is undergoing transformation. He assured that no farmer from this area will be compelled to migrate.

During a state-level farmers’ conference, CM Yadav unveiled development projects worth ₹62.23 crore. He highlighted the government’s commitment to increasing irrigation capacity in the state. The irrigated area has expanded from 7.5 lakh hectares to 55 lakh hectares. In the past two years alone, approximately one million hectares of land have been added to the irrigated category. The Ken-Betwa river linking project will provide ample water for irrigation to farmers in Bundelkhand and surrounding districts.

He further stated that the central government has granted Madhya Pradesh a significant river linking project, which will also benefit some districts in Uttar Pradesh. With these advancements, no farmer in Bundelkhand will be forced to leave their land. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is progressing in all sectors. There is no country in the world that has faced a crisis where Indian citizens were not ensured a safe return due to the Prime Minister’s initiatives.

CM Yadav affirmed that the Madhya Pradesh government is working alongside Prime Minister Modi to realize the vision of a developed India. He paid homage to Lord Balram, stating that farmers are the true fate makers of the nation. They toil under the scorching sun to grow food for everyone. This year, dedicated to farmer welfare, the state government is committed to enhancing farmers’ prosperity. Farmers are encouraged to adopt modern agricultural tools, engage in animal husbandry, fish farming, and start agriculture-based industries to double their income through food processing. Numerous schemes are being introduced to support these initiatives. Farmers are now using machines for stubble management, creating fodder, which provides them with a dual income opportunity from both wheat and fodder.

CM Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation for 12 development projects worth ₹62.23 crore, including the grand Sandipani School, a guest house at the divine site of Ratangarh, and a stadium among other projects. Beneficiaries also received agricultural tools, livestock, and food processing benefits.

He remarked that Lord Krishna dedicated his entire life to public welfare. The Sandipani School in the state serves as a temple for children’s bright futures. Students in government schools are provided with free textbooks, uniforms, bicycles, laptops, and even scooters. Starting this academic session, the Yashoda scheme will also distribute milk packets to children.
