Bengaluru, August 25: A significant opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work with Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES). RITES Limited has issued an official notification inviting applications for a total of 8 positions for Engineer-UT Testing. This includes 5 positions for General candidates, 2 for OBC (NCL), and 1 for SC.
The online application process for these engineering positions commenced on August 21, with the final date for submission set for September 14. Eligible candidates interested in these roles can complete the registration process on the official RITES Limited website before or by the deadline.
Applicants must possess a full-time diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institution or university, along with a UT Level-2 certificate (ASNT/ISNT). Alternatively, candidates can hold a full-time degree in the same fields, also accompanied by the UT Level-2 certificate.
Additionally, candidates applying with a diploma must have at least 5 years of experience post-qualification, while those with a degree should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 40 years, calculated based on the final date for form submission. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, shortlisting, document verification, interviews, and other stages. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹42,478, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Document verification and interviews are scheduled for September 17 and 18 at the following locations: RITES, Regional Office, Industry House, 5th Floor, 45, Fairfield Layout, Race Course Road, Bengaluru 560001, and RITES, Inspection Office, Chennai CTS Building, 2nd Floor, BSNL Complex, No. 16, Greams Road, Chennai 600006. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring all relevant documents in original and photocopy.
