FREMAA Recruitment 2026: Job Opportunities for Accounts Assistants and More, Apply by September 6

Dispur, August 25: Many young individuals still prefer government jobs over private sector employment. If you are among them, the Assam Flood and River Erosion Management Agency (FREMAA) has announced a recruitment notification for various positions, including IT Assistants, on a contractual basis. The vacancies announced by FREMAA include 1 IT Assistant, 2 Accounts Assistants, and 9 Field Assistants. For the Accounts Assistant role, candidates should possess a graduate degree in Commerce or Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. A good understanding of computers and strong interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary, along with the capability to work effectively in a team.

Field Assistants must have a graduate degree in any subject with at least 55% marks. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is essential, along with a good command of English, Hindi, and Assamese languages. Candidates should also have strong report-writing skills in English and the ability to work well in a team.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, interviews, and document verification. The salary for selected candidates will range from ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on the position.
