Rudraprayag, April 17: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a ground inspection of the Char Dham pilgrimage routes and facilities in Rudraprayag on Thursday.
During a media interaction, CM Dhami stated that all construction works are progressing swiftly. He has instructed officials to complete all ongoing projects as soon as possible within the set timelines.
“Our primary goal is to ensure a smooth, organized, and safe Char Dham pilgrimage, allowing devotees to have a pleasant experience and return home with positive memories,” he emphasized.
He mentioned that special efforts are being made to ensure the pilgrimage is plastic-free. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also urged devotees across the country to adhere to the pilgrimage guidelines.
Dhami assured that they are fully prepared for the pilgrimage. All arrangements are complete, and devotees will not face any inconveniences. They will be provided with quality food and a good spiritual experience.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Dhami shared that he reviewed the preparations for the Char Dham pilgrimage in Rudraprayag and provided necessary directives to the officials. He stressed the importance of prioritizing the safety and comfort of pilgrims, monitoring the condition of travel routes, traffic management, parking arrangements, health services, drinking water, cleanliness, electricity supply, and communication systems.
Officials have been instructed to maintain continuous and effective monitoring of all travel routes through a control room. “Providing every pilgrim arriving in the Devbhoomi Uttarakhand with a safe, organized, and divine travel experience is our top priority,” he stated.
Referring to the Women’s Reservation Bill, CM Dhami noted that PM Modi’s clear message is that politics should not overshadow significant issues like women’s reservation; instead, consensus and cooperation are essential. This reflects his visionary and inclusive thinking. When decisions relate to empowering half the population, the change it brings for future generations is more important than credit. Every decision by the Prime Minister has always been dedicated to the empowerment, respect, and welfare of women. Under his leadership, women’s empowerment has emerged not just as a policy but as a strong foundation for nation-building.
