Emotional Moments at Bihar Event as Ashok Chaudhary Reflects on Nitish Kumars Legacy

Patna, April 16: An emotional moment unfolded during a JD(U) event in Bihar, as senior leader Ashok Chaudhary became visibly moved while discussing former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The atmosphere intensified when Nishant Kumar, Nitish Kumar’s son, stepped forward to comfort him.

At this event, a short film titled “Mera Neta, Mera Abhiman” was launched, which Nishant Kumar released at the JD(U) office. The film features a special song and highlights Nitish Kumar’s governance and development initiatives over the past two decades.

While speaking at the event, Ashok Chaudhary reflected on Nitish Kumar’s long political journey and his contributions to Bihar’s development. However, he became emotional when mentioning Kumar, breaking down in tears and struggling to continue his speech.

This poignant moment revealed the deep personal and political bonds within the party. After the film’s launch, the mood shifted as Chaudhary openly wept. Nishant Kumar placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, offering him strength, while attendees watched in silence.

Regaining his composure, Ashok Chaudhary stated, “Nitish Kumar has decided to step down from the Rajya Sabha. While he is leaving this position, working with him has been a unique experience. Every individual has their own way of working, and his approach has truly been exceptional.”

He further expressed that this change came unexpectedly, leaving many without time to fully comprehend it. “We had hoped he would serve for another five years and fulfill the dreams he envisioned for Bihar. For us, he was not just a Chief Minister but a guardian.”

Chaudhary concluded by assuring that even after Nitish Kumar’s departure from this role, his guidance will continue to shape Bihar’s political and developmental trajectory.

The emotional scenes at this event underscore the profound impact of Nitish Kumar’s long tenure; it signifies not just a political transition but also a deeply personal and emotional moment for many within his party.
