Mumbai, July 15: Television actress Pankhuri Rode recently experienced an emotional milestone as her twin children, Radhya and Radhit, began their school journey. The actress shared her heartfelt feelings through a social media post on Wednesday.
Pankhuri posted pictures of her children in their school uniforms on Instagram. She expressed that she usually doesn’t cry easily, but she found herself teary-eyed on three occasions that she never anticipated.
Reflecting on these moments, Pankhuri wrote, “The first time I shed tears was when I visited the school to check it out for my children. Seeing the stairs and corridors made me emotional. The second time was during the parents’ orientation, where I couldn’t hold back my tears. The third instance was the night before the first day of school when I sat down to write after putting the kids to bed.”
She emphasized that this experience made her realize how quickly her children are growing up. According to her, school is not just a building; it marks the beginning of several years in her children’s lives, filled with dreams, learning, and countless memories. She noted that school is where children discover themselves and forge friendships that last a lifetime. Pankhuri clarified that her tears were not of sadness but joy at witnessing her children take this significant step forward.
Additionally, she recalled how her doctor had once asked her when she would stop worrying about her children at their birth. The doctor had smiled, saying that such love and concern would never cease, as it remains with parents for life.
Pankhuri also mentioned that even today, she seeks advice from her parents on important matters.
