Mumbai, March 24: Following the success of the film ‘The Sabarmati Report,’ which is based on the 2002 Godhra incident, producer Ekta Kapoor is set to unveil a new film. Balaji Telefilms and Ellipsis Entertainment have joined forces to create a major political thriller titled ‘The Terror Report.’
The film will be directed by Vishnu Vardhan, known for his work on ‘Shershaah.’ It will depict real events, showcasing terrorist attacks on India and the country’s robust responses. Serving as a sequel to ‘The Sabarmati Report,’ this film will delve into India’s long-standing battle against cross-border terrorism.
According to the makers, the film will explore the complexities of investigations, intelligence operations, and recent security-related incidents in depth. This unique collaboration will highlight the creative strengths of Balaji and Ellipsis alongside Vishnu Vardhan’s exceptional directorial style. The producers include Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Tanuj Garg, and Atul Kasbekar.
The filmmakers believe this project will not only entertain but also raise awareness among audiences about national security and anti-terrorism efforts.
