New Delhi, March 24: Actress Sonakshi Batra, known for her leading role in the TV show ‘Jagadhatri’, expressed her profound faith in Lord Ram on the occasion of Ram Navami. She emphasized that Lord Ram’s life teaches us how to walk the path of righteousness.
Sonakshi stated, “Ram Navami has always been a very special and spiritual day for me. I have deep faith in Lord Ram, and I believe that His blessings guide and protect us at every stage of life. At home, we perform prayers with the entire family, prepare offerings, and seek His blessings.”
She further added, “I am greatly inspired by the ideals of Lord Ram—truth, patience, strength, and compassion. Just listening to the Ramayana fills my heart with peace and positivity. Ram Navami is not just a festival; it is a feeling of faith and inner tranquility that stays with me always.”
In ‘Jagadhatri’, Sonakshi portrays a strong, courageous, and just woman. The show features a mix of drama, action, and emotions.
She also shared her recent experiences from the show’s shooting. “Playing the character of Jagadhatri has been an incredible journey for me, and over time, the action scenes have become one of my favorite parts of the show. Recently, we filmed a Holi scene that was quite risky. In it, my daughter Gunjan (played by Pari Bhanushali) suddenly gets caught in a fire, and Jagadhatri (Sonakshi) jumps into the flames to save her.”
Sonakshi remarked, “Action scenes have now become my favorites. The fire stunt was very challenging, but Pari is very smart and followed all the instructions carefully, making the shooting easier.”
