Dr. Sanjay Nishad Highlights the Role of Buddha and Ambedkar in Promoting Equality
Dr. Sanjay Nishad emphasizes the contributions of Buddha and Ambedkar in achieving social equality and justice in India.

New Delhi, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Dr. Sanjay Nishad, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and national president of the Nishad Party, recently made significant remarks regarding social justice and constitutional values. He stated that both Lord Buddha and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar played pivotal roles in eliminating societal inequalities, ensuring equal rights for all. He emphasized that the core essence of the Constitution is to uplift the poor and guarantee equal opportunities.
Nishad criticized opposition parties for deviating from this ideology, asserting that this divergence has led the public to place their trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
“People have their own opinions and engage in politics based on their ideologies. There was a time when the poor struggled while the wealthy thrived. Buddha’s arrival brought equality, and Ambedkar advocated for collective prosperity, declaring that everyone is equal in the eyes of God,” said Nishad.
He further explained that the tax contributions from the wealthy should be utilized to educate the children of the poor, serving as a model for development. This aligns with constitutional principles, which should guide the populace, echoing Buddha’s teachings.
Nishad pointed out that while all political parties pledge to provide respect, security, prosperity, equality, and self-reliance for all Indians, they often forget these commitments once in power.
He remarked that the very individuals they reference have been forgotten after gaining authority, and now the public is turning to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi.
In response to Akhilesh Yadav’s comments about winning 60 seats, Nishad stated, “We did not enter politics for personal gain but to address social issues, which only the BJP is actively working to resolve. If the BJP fails to tackle these issues, we will reconsider our position.”
The Nishad Party is set to host a large Constitutional Rights Conference on October 21 at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. Nishad expressed his ongoing commitment to raising awareness within the Nishad community and resolving pressing issues.
