
Bhopal, April 14: The birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, is being commemorated in Madhya Pradesh with sentiments of reverence, harmony, and unity.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s unparalleled contribution to the formation of modern India. On this significant occasion, he paid tribute to Babasaheb by laying flowers at his statue located at Board Office Square in Bhopal.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Yadav remarked on Dr. Ambedkar’s vital role in establishing a just society through the Indian Constitution, which safeguards the rights of all communities.
He further stated that the welfare initiatives undertaken by Dr. Ambedkar should never be forgotten. The legacy of justice and equality left by Babasaheb will continue to inspire us.
On Ambedkar Jayanti, the state Congress President, Jitu Patwari, offered floral tributes at the statue in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow), his birthplace, and paid his respects on this sacred occasion. Reflecting on Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings, Patwari noted, “His lessons will always inspire us in the fight for a robust democracy, equal rights for every Indian, and the protection of the Constitution.”
Various social harmony programs are being organized across the state, including processions and floral tributes at statues, alongside a commitment to strengthen the nation.
