Nawada, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : On September 16, District Magistrate Ravi Prakash conducted an unannounced inspection of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential Hostel in Rajouli, Nawada. During his visit, he assessed the residential, educational, and essential facilities provided to the students.
Prakash meticulously examined various areas of the hostel, including classrooms, the kitchen, dining arrangements, drinking water supply, electricity, toilets, and overall cleanliness. He engaged directly with the students to gather feedback on their studies, meals, housing conditions, and other needs. Based on their input, he instructed relevant officials to enhance all arrangements.
The District Magistrate also reviewed the school’s educational setup, student attendance, and teaching conditions. He urged teachers to ensure that students receive quality education and that a conducive learning environment is maintained. Furthermore, he encouraged students to practice English writing and speaking regularly to understand the language’s significance.
Prakash directed the principal to ensure a steady supply of Hindi and English newspapers, along with magazines related to current affairs, in the library. He emphasized that this would help cultivate reading habits among students and improve their general knowledge of contemporary events. Additionally, he motivated students to utilize digital educational resources.
The security arrangements within the school premises were monitored through installed CCTV cameras. The District Magistrate emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring quality meals, potable water, electricity, and other basic amenities.
Notably, during his inspection, Prakash personally evaluated the dining services by sharing a meal with the students. He sought their opinions on the quality and cleanliness of the food and instructed the hostel management to provide nutritious and hygienic meals according to the established menu and schedule, ensuring regular monitoring.
Present during the inspection were the Assistant Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer of Rajouli, the Confidential Branch Officer, and the District Welfare Officer of Nawada, among other officials and staff.
