Mumbai, March 25: Mona Lisa, who became an overnight sensation during the Prayagraj Kumbh, has been in the spotlight since her marriage to Farmaan Khan. Director Sanoj Mishra, who launched Mona Lisa’s film career, labeled their marriage as “love jihad.” In response, Mona Lisa accused the director of harassment.
During a press conference, Mona Lisa claimed that the director had inappropriately touched her under the pretext of filmmaking. Now, Sanoj Mishra has addressed these allegations, stating that this could be his final video.
In a video statement, Mishra revealed that both he and his family are in danger due to his outspoken stance against forced conversions. He alleged that jihadists and Christian missionaries from Kerala have conspired against him. “I have always regarded Mona Lisa as a sister and daughter. I have made it clear that there is a plot to turn her against me. What she is saying are not her words; they are those of jihadists who have brainwashed her,” he stated.
Mishra further claimed, “Jihadists and Kerala’s Christian missionaries are conspiring against me. If anything happens to me or my family, please support us.” He emphasized that he will not back down from the fight against forced conversions and jihadism. He accused them of taking Mona Lisa to Kerala, where she was married without anyone’s knowledge, and noted that prominent leaders and ministers from Kerala are supporting this marriage. He believes this is an attempt to tarnish the image of Sanatan Dharma and promote such marriages openly.
It is noteworthy that Sanoj Mishra brought Mona Lisa from the Kumbh Mela to the film industry, although the film has yet to be released. He alleged that the production cost of the film was ₹10 crore, and claimed that she married without informing him, which he believes will negatively impact the film.
