Bahraich, June 6: Dinesh Pratap Singh, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, launched a sharp attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi during a recent Lok Sabha session. He stated that no citizen in the country takes Gandhi’s statements seriously. Singh claimed that not only the general public but even journalists questioning him do not regard his comments with any seriousness. He described Gandhi as an “accidental MP,” a title he holds solely due to his lineage in the Gandhi family.
In a media interaction, Singh remarked that a person whom the public has long referred to as ‘Pappu’ does not command any seriousness regarding his statements. He pointed out that Gandhi is criticizing a leader who heads the world’s largest democratic family and under whose leadership India is achieving remarkable milestones on the global stage.
Singh referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that under Modi’s leadership, India is progressing with a focus on its culture, values, and development, establishing a robust identity as a developed nation worldwide.
He emphasized that India has become the world’s fourth-largest economy and is rapidly moving towards becoming the third-largest. Singh accused Rahul Gandhi of failing to grasp Indian culture, traditions, and the core sentiments of the nation. He reiterated that Gandhi’s political identity is primarily due to his birth in the Gandhi family, earning him the label of an “accidental MP.”
The minister concluded by asserting that Gandhi lacks a sufficient understanding of India and its values, which is why both the government and the public do not take his statements seriously. He highlighted that the citizens of India stand united for development, good governance, and strong leadership, as the nation continues to reach new heights under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance.
