The spy thriller starring Ranveer Singh has completed seven weeks in theatres, maintaining strong audience interest. On the 50th day, Dhurandhar’s daily earnings dropped to around ₹55 lakh for the first time, raising concerns about waning popularity, especially with the upcoming OTT release scheduled for 30 January. However, the film bounced back on the 51st day, earning over ₹1 crore, followed by ₹1.35 crore on the 52nd day, proving its sustained appeal despite competition.
According to Sacnilk reports, Dhurandhar now stands among the highest grossers in India with a domestic gross of ₹1000 crore. It ranks alongside all-time blockbusters like Baahubali 2, which leads with ₹1417 crore. Dhurandhar has emerged as the top Hindi single-language film in this category. Its net domestic collection is reported to be approximately ₹833.50 crore, with some sources estimating it could be over ₹890 crore as the final data is yet to be confirmed.
The film is set to premiere on Netflix from 30 January, and there is growing excitement about its OTT version, with speculation about an edited cut tailored for digital release. Meanwhile, the sequel Dhurandhar Part 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on 19 March, eagerly awaited by fans since the first part’s success.
