
Ahmedabad, March 3: Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi participated in Rangotsav 2026 held in Dakor, Gujarat, on Tuesday. During the event, he paid his respects at the temple of Lord Ranchhodji and offered a flag. He also extended Holi greetings to all citizens.
Sanghvi remarked that millions of devotees gathered today, continuing a tradition that has persisted for many years. People travel several kilometers to experience the divine presence and devotion.
“I had the opportunity to witness the Lord among millions of devotees today,” Sanghvi said. On this day, people come chanting ‘Jai Ranchhod,’ and the enthusiasm among the devotees is palpable. It is said, ‘Dakor Nath Thakur, tere band darwaza khol,’ meaning the Lord opens His doors for His devotees. As the doors open, their wishes are fulfilled.
The Deputy CM added, “Today, I prayed to Lord Ranchhodji for the fulfillment of all the wishes of the citizens of my state.” He also mentioned that the government has made all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth event without any inconveniences.
He emphasized that during Rangotsav, people gather not only for the divine sight but also to experience devotion and celebration. The enthusiasm and faith of the devotees are truly uplifting.
Regarding the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, he stated that the Indian government has already announced various measures to assist stranded Gujaratis, with the first precautionary flight arriving in Delhi today.
