Controversy Over Vande Mataram: BJP Leader Gaurav Vallabh Criticizes Congress for Family-Centric Politics

New Delhi, August 22: The controversy surrounding Vande Mataram has intensified as BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh launched a sharp attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi regarding their stance on the national song. Vallabh stated that Congress has a tradition of family songs rather than national anthems, where only one family’s praises are sung. He accused the party of neglecting the national anthem for 60 years in favor of appeasement politics.

Vallabh further alleged that Rahul Gandhi is creating chaos by hiring influencers with money, while ignoring the voices of students distressed by exam cancellations in Ranchi. He emphasized that Congress is only led by individuals born into one family, showing no real concern for the nation.

He criticized Congress’s claim of only singing two verses of the anthem, questioning why they refuse to sing the entire song. “Is it because your appeasement politics is compromised? This is why the national anthem was neglected for nearly 60 years after independence,” Vallabh remarked.

Continuing his critique, he accused Rahul Gandhi of attempting to spread disorder by visiting specific locations and inciting unrest. He posed a question to Gandhi, asking why he cannot hear the concerns of students in Ranchi, where exams are being repeatedly canceled, jeopardizing an entire generation’s future.

Vallabh also pointed out that Rahul Gandhi’s competition lies solely with the Chief Justice of India, rather than addressing pressing student issues. He urged Gandhi to listen to the students in Ranchi, asserting that his credibility hinges on setting an example by stepping outside the government.

In a related issue, Vallabh raised allegations against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife, Gurpreet Kaur, who is accused of demanding a bribe of 5 crores. He challenged Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal to respond to these serious allegations, questioning his silence on the matter. Vallabh insisted that selective statements based on circumstances do not constitute genuine politics.

“Arvind, come out and explain this situation; only then will the nation trust you,” Vallabh concluded.
