Congress Leader Criticizes Governments Policies, Calls for Change Amid Public Discontent

Vijay Wadettiwar condemns the governments alignment with the U.S., urging a shift in power to address rising unemployment and inflation.

Nagpur, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has launched a fierce critique against the central government, accusing it of bowing to American interests and implementing policies detrimental to the nation. He highlighted the rising issues of unemployment, inflation, and the distress faced by farmers, stating that the public is fed up and the youth are taking to the streets.

Wadettiwar remarked, “You salute the U.S. while your policies are against the country, leading to its ruin. You have plunged the nation into debt. You come to power by stealing votes. Appointments to constitutional positions are not being made legally. You manipulate laws for your convenience, and today, the youth are protesting on the streets.”

He criticized the government’s reliance on external sources for fuel, describing it as a failure. “Is it wrong to call for the removal of a government that has done nothing but sell the country? How can you justify staying in power while ruining the nation?” he questioned.

Wadettiwar emphasized that the demand for change is not just from him but is echoed by the entire nation. “The people are calling for your removal. We are fighting to protect the Constitution and democracy. Change is the only solution, and there is nothing wrong with that.”

In response to questions about public protests, he stated that such movements arise from collective sentiment, not just individual action. He referenced the situation in Bangladesh, noting that significant change occurs when the masses unite. “People are on the streets for a reason. They are rallying behind figures like Rahul Gandhi and organizations like CJP because they feel wronged. We must understand their motivations and the injustices they face.”

Wadettiwar concluded by asserting that no one protests without cause. “If you act against the country, people will rise up to fight for their rights and safety. There is no chaos in this; it is a legitimate response to your failures. Instead of addressing the fundamental issues driving public unrest, you deflect blame by citing Bangladesh, China, or Pakistan.”
