Congress Hits Back at BJP Over Rahul Gandhi Missing Posters

New Delhi, June 29: Congress MP Manoj Kumar criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for putting up posters declaring Rahul Gandhi as ‘missing.’ He also addressed the proposed Uniform Civil Code (UCC) bill in West Bengal and other pressing issues. In response to statements made by BJP’s Nitin Naveen, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President V. Gurunatham and Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai also shared their views.

Manoj Kumar remarked, “These BJP members sleep and wake up thinking about Rahul Gandhi. If that’s the case, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi should also have a poster, as he is hardly present in the country. Everyone knows about Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips. No one can hide him. The person putting up these posters is wasting their money; it doesn’t concern us. The country is facing inflation, fuel prices are rising, and there are issues like the Ram Temple donation scandal, yet BJP members haven’t put up any posters about these matters. When the House is in session, everyone will see Rahul Gandhi.”

Regarding the UCC bill in West Bengal, Kumar stated, “Any bill that comes forward should be thoroughly discussed. The public should also be consulted before making a decision. The BJP government rushes to introduce bills, but we all see the aftermath. Public opinion should be taken into account for this bill.”

V. Gurunatham, Vice President of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, commented on Nitin Naveen’s recent remarks, saying, “The newly appointed BJP president is making serious allegations against the Congress party, which the BJP has never proven without doubt. The BJP has been in power for nearly 12 years and has never pointed fingers at Sonia Gandhi or the Congress regarding corruption or other issues. How can they claim that the Congress party is synonymous with corruption? This attitude from the BJP is very disappointing.”

On the ongoing controversy surrounding donations for the Ram Temple, Congress President Ajay Rai stated, “There is widespread anger across the country. BJP workers are going door-to-door chanting slogans like ‘donation thieves, go back.’ In the coming days, banners may appear in villages to prevent their entry, and people might socially boycott them.”
