Bhopal, May 18: Kunal Chaudhary, the National Secretary of Congress and former MLA, has labeled the state government as ineffective. He pointed out that under the leadership of Mohan Yadav, the government has been in power for over two years, yet issues regarding the ministers’ performance are surfacing. Chaudhary’s remarks come amid a review of the government’s functioning.
He stated that instead of a performance test at the Chief Minister’s office, what is happening is an autopsy of the BJP government’s failures. According to him, after two and a half years, the government has lost trust in its ministers’ on-ground presence and effectiveness. “If the public had received relief, farmers were happy, youth found jobs, and law and order was strong, why would there be a need to demand report cards behind closed doors?” he questioned.
Chaudhary referenced several recent incidents, including deaths caused by fake cough syrup in Chhindwara, people falling ill from contaminated water in Indore, child fatalities at MY Hospital, and the Jabalpur cruise accident. Each of these events highlights the government’s negligence and administrative failures. He emphasized that the government seems more concerned about image management and photo opportunities than the welfare of the public.
He concluded by stating that the public is not asking for a performance test from Mohan Yadav; they are demanding results. Currently, there is a review process underway for the ministers’ performance in Yadav’s government, involving key figures from both the ruling party and the organization.
