An Evening of Art, Colours and Music in the Lake City

Udaipur, August 13 (Kiran News) – It was a special Wednesday evening for art lovers in Udaipur when renowned artist and graphic designer Rachna Damani, who lives in Washington DC, USA, unveiled her much-awaited art exhibition ‘Rang Samvad’ at House of Gourmet in Panchwati.

The exhibition was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha and Sandeep Singh Rathore of Sandy Travel Tales. They viewed the displayed artworks and praised Damani’s creations, calling her an inspiration for budding artists. Sketch artist Sunil Laddha and Rachna Damani briefed the guests about the themes of the paintings.

20 Watercolour Paintings and Over 50 Sketches on Display
The exhibition showcases 20 watercolour paintings and more than 50 sketches by Damani. Each work vividly portrays nature, landscapes, and urban life, marked by fine detailing and depth of colours.

Live Music Enhances the Atmosphere
Live music further elevated the charm of the evening. Guitar artist Vatsal Laddha and Shivalika Damani on drums won the audience’s hearts with their performances.

Strong Presence of Artists and Art Enthusiasts
The event saw the participation of sketch artist Sunil Laddha from Creative Circle Group, storyteller Rajat Meghnani, stone sculptor Hemant Joshi, ornithologist Vinay Dave, artist Neelofar Munir, along with many art lovers and students from the city.

A Fusion of Art and Dialogue
This unique confluence of art and conversation was organised in collaboration with Esa for Art, House of Gourmet, and the city’s artist group Creative Circle. The organisers have invited residents to visit the exhibition, which will continue till August 14, and experience Rachna Damani’s creative journey.
