New Delhi, 7 December. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during a program in the national capital Delhi on Saturday, made a strong statement about the state’s law and order situation, reaffirming that Uttar Pradesh has left behind the days of mafia rule and crime. Ahead of the 2027 political phase, the Chief Minister made it clear that there is no place for crime, lawlessness, or insecurity of daughters in the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in clear terms that those who burden the system will be freed by Mother Earth and themselves. The zero-tolerance policy in the state is not just a slogan but a practice implemented in reality. He warned that anyone who tampers with the safety of daughters will face consequences openly. This statement reflects the firm resolve that has demoralised criminals and strengthened the public’s trust in safety across Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath’s straightforward approach and tough stance against crime have earned admiration not only in the state but across the country.
In Uttar Pradesh, timely justice has become a priority alongside justice itself under the Yogi government. The Chief Minister often emphasizes that people should both see and feel justice being delivered. The judicial process, which once faced long delays, is now moving towards delivering results within a fixed timeframe. His clear message is that the government and police are working to relieve the burden of crime on the land. This policy has made the rule of law a reality on the ground, not just on paper.
Once known for mafia fear, Uttar Pradesh is now recognised for initiatives like ‘One District One Medical College’ and ‘One District One Product’. The Chief Minister has repeatedly stated that the government responds to mafia in the language they understand. As a result, those working against the public no longer get protection or political shelter. The government’s firm stance is that only the rule of law will prevail in Uttar Pradesh, not any criminal or mafia. Those who stand against the people will be crushed. This is not just a warning but a guarantee of peace for citizens and fear for those promoting crime and disorder.
Actions against mafia in UP now go beyond arrests. The government has reclaimed thousands of crores worth of land from illegal occupations. These lands are now being used to build homes for the poor and new development projects. Areas once darkened by crime are now witnessing the dawn of hope for the deprived. In Noida and Greater Noida, the government has helped over 3.5 lakh buyers get their homes, proving that development means justice and trust, not just roads and buildings.
When the Yogi government took office in 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only one and a half expressways. Today, 55 percent of India’s expressway network lies in Uttar Pradesh. From two fully operational airports in 2017, the state now has 16. With metro systems, rapid rail, wider roads, and smart cities, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a growth engine for the country. Rapid urbanisation, improved infrastructure, safe roads, electricity, water, and greenery form the foundation of a fear-free society where citizens can live without fear. The government aims to increase urbanisation from 23 percent to 40 percent in the next three years, showing the state’s progress towards becoming fear-free. This development path cannot be achieved without eliminating lawlessness and uncertainty.
Women’s safety in Uttar Pradesh has become not just a legal issue but a foundation for social change. The number of women in UP Police has reached 44,000. Through self-help groups, millions of women are becoming self-reliant. Government schemes support daughters from birth through education, marriage, and employment. Mission Shakti promotes respect, independence, and empowerment of women. This positive change is visible not only in government records but in the daily lives of people in villages, towns, and cities.
Uttar Pradesh today is a mafia-free state where law is powerful, fear is replaced by rapid development, lands freed from mafia control host homes for the poor, and daughters grow up strong and confident. These changes reflect good governance, effective management, and sound policy, which are not just statements but lived realities recognised across the country and the world.
