Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with petitioners from various districts during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme on Monday to listen to their grievances. After receiving numerous petitions from the public, the Chief Minister instructed officials to take prompt action and firmly stated that illegal land occupation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He emphasized that strict measures against land mafias and musclemen would continue regularly.
During the interaction, CM Yogi directed officials to ensure quick and satisfactory resolution of complaints, reassuring citizens that the government remains committed to addressing their problems effectively. Several petitioners approached the Chief Minister with complaints related to land encroachment and physical assault.
The Chief Minister personally heard each individual’s concerns, collected their petitions, and ordered district authorities to expedite legal and revenue-related cases. He stressed that maintaining law and order is a top government priority, and any attempts to manipulate the system will not be tolerated.
Further, CM Yogi instructed police officers at the district, division, range, and zone levels to continue stringent actions against powerful local offenders and land grabbers. Some seriously ill petitioners also sought financial assistance for medical treatment during the ‘Janata Darshan’. The Chief Minister assured that the government is providing economic aid for healthcare and urged patients to obtain hospital estimates promptly, promising immediate support to ensure treatment is not delayed due to lack of funds.
Among the visitors were several children accompanied by their parents, where CM Yogi showed a warm and affectionate side. He inquired about their wellbeing, offered them sweets, and advised parents to take special care of their children during the cold season. The parents expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s kind and empathetic approach.
