Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a clear warning to officials regarding illegal land occupation. He directed that any land taken over by goons or land mafias must be vacated immediately, and those involved should face strict legal action without any leniency.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, CM Yogi stated that no injustice will be allowed against any individual, and the administration is determined to bring prosperity to every citizen’s life.
On Wednesday, during the public hearing at Gorakhnath Temple, the Chief Minister personally met around 150 people at the Digvijaynath Memorial Hall within the temple premises. He listened attentively to their grievances and assured them that no injustice would be tolerated under his governance.
CM Yogi instructed officials to promptly address all petitions and provide satisfactory resolutions. When a complaint about illegal land occupation was raised, he immediately directed the administration and police officers present to take swift action to free the land and ensure that no one is able to seize land unlawfully in the future.
Several women also brought family disputes and in-law related issues to the Chief Minister’s notice. He instructed authorities to engage in dialogue with both parties to resolve the conflicts amicably, warning that legal measures will be taken if issues remain unresolved. He emphasized transparency and impartiality in handling cases related to revenue and police departments, ensuring sensitive and supportive treatment of all victims.
Many people approached CM Yogi seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister assured them of full government support and instructed officials to expedite the medical estimate process so that funds can be directly transferred to hospitals.
During his visit to Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday morning, CM Yogi followed his traditional routine by performing worship of the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath and paying respects at the samadhi of his guru, late Mahant Avadhyanath. His schedule included visiting the cowshed within the temple complex, reflecting his ongoing commitment to gos seva.
While touring the temple premises, CM Yogi warmly interacted with children accompanying their families. He asked about their names and studies, shared light moments, and encouraged them to study hard and progress in life. He personally distributed sweets to the children and even performed the annaprashan ceremony for two toddlers.
