March Brings Excitement with Dhurdhar and Upcoming Bollywood Releases

New Delhi, March 24: The film ‘Dhurdhar: The Revenge’ has taken the box office by storm this March, achieving impressive earnings. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this spy action thriller has also made a significant impact internationally, becoming the highest-grossing film overseas during its opening weekend. As we move into April, Bollywood is set to entertain audiences with a lineup of exciting films.

April will see the release of movies across various genres, including action, romance, horror-comedy, and period dramas. Notable films scheduled for release include ‘Awarapan 2,’ featuring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

‘Awarapan 2’ is set to hit theaters on April 3. This sequel to the 2007 hit film ‘Awarapan’ stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, promising a story filled with emotion, action, and love.

Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ will be released on April 10. The film features Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal in significant roles, offering a delightful mix of fear and humor, as showcased in its teaser.

The period action film ‘Swayambhu,’ starring Nikhil Siddharth, will also release on April 10. Initially scheduled for February 13, the release was postponed due to post-production and VFX requirements. According to the makers, the film will be released in two parts.

Adavi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur will star in ‘Dacoit: A Love Story,’ also releasing on April 10. This film revolves around themes of love and revenge, packed with action and romance.

The highly anticipated film ‘Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ (previously titled ‘Battle of Galwan’) featuring Salman Khan is also rumored to release in April. The makers have yet to confirm the release date. This film is based on the real battle between India and China in the Galwan Valley, showcasing the bravery of Indian soldiers. Alongside Salman Khan, actress Chitrangada Singh will play a lead role.

‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2’ will arrive in theaters on April 24. This romantic-comedy is a sequel to ‘Ginny Weds Sunny,’ starring Avinash Tiwari and Medha Shankar, and promises a fun-filled narrative about love, comedy, and relationships.

For horror film enthusiasts, the horror-thriller ‘The Wardrobe’ is set to release on April 24. Starring Rajneesh Duggal and Divya Agarwal, the film is directed by Saurabh Chaube and produced by Jyoti Raj Gawali.
