Beijing, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFITIS) concluded on September 13, 2026, in Beijing. This year’s event celebrated over 1,200 achievements across seven categories.
During the fair, organizers hosted 200 forums, conferences, and promotional activities aimed at business coordination. More than 1,830 companies participated offline, while over 5,300 joined online. The event significantly boosted the visibility of “Chinese services” as a prominent brand and garnered unexpected positive responses in the foreign service promotion sector.
Exhibitors from 90 countries, regions, and international organizations showcased their innovative technologies, products, and services for the first time. The fair also featured the release of several official reports, highlighting cutting-edge research results, analyzing the latest trends in service trade, and emphasizing the importance of international exchange and cooperation.
Notably, CIFITIS 2026 marked significant achievements across various sectors. A total of 103 enterprises and institutions secured 233 accomplishments. The Norwegian delegation, as a special guest, signed six cooperation agreements with Chinese businesses and institutions. Additionally, a promotional event focused on “Investing in Beijing” resulted in agreements for 36 major projects spanning 12 industrial sectors, including technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and modern services.
To enhance the impact of CIFITIS, the event included 81 auxiliary activities, with 44 held in key business districts of Beijing and 13 inspection routes. The city also hosted professional economic exchanges and public cultural experiences.
The CIFITIS took place from September 9 to 13 at Shougang Park, located in the Shijingshan District of Beijing. This 70-hectare park has been transformed from a century-old steel plant area into a permanent venue for CIFITIS, becoming a popular spot among online influencers.
