Jaipur, October 18 (Daily Kiran): In a swift and decisive action, Taranagar Police in Churu district arrested two accused within two hours of a late-night firing incident aimed at killing a local resident.

According to Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav, the firing took place at the residence of Mahavir Jhajharia, a resident of Ozariya, on Saturday morning around 11:00 a.m. Upon receiving the information, Station House Officer Satveer Meena immediately reached the spot with a team and registered a case based on the complainant’s written report.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range, ordered a high-level investigation under the close supervision of Additional SP Kishori Lal and Circle Officer Rohit Sankhla.
Acting promptly, the team led by SHO Satveer Meena used technical surveillance and intelligence inputs to identify and detain the suspects within two hours of the firing. The arrested accused have been identified as Rajesh alias Chhotia (25), son of Ramsingh, and Satish Kumar (22), son of Phoolaram, both residents of Ozariya.
Police confirmed that both accused have previous criminal records involving serious offences. Further investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the firing and to trace the weapon used in the crime.
