New Delhi, March 17: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of Delhi visited the Nirmal Chhaya Complex on Tuesday to observe the ongoing empowerment initiatives for women and children.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, CM Gupta shared her insights from the visit, highlighting the inspiring efforts of women working at the Women’s Haat, Samarth Anganwadi, and Sankalp Hub. She interacted with children, distributing school bags and essential supplies, while also providing health kits to mothers.
During the event, she honored the dedication and service spirit of Anganwadi workers by awarding them incentive funds. To further enhance child welfare, she launched the Juvenile Justice Management Information Portal, emphasizing the commitment to ensure that every mother is empowered and every child moves confidently towards a safe, healthy, and bright future.
Earlier, in another post on ‘X’, CM Gupta stated that duty, selfless dedication, and service are the values that shape the nation’s direction, embodied by the strength of women. She expressed her gratitude for witnessing the indomitable spirit and energy of mothers during the ‘Nari Utsav’ event.
She noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Indian women are at the forefront of change, contributing from rural enterprises to global corporations, and from public service to defense forces, driving the vision of ‘Developed India 2047’. In Delhi, efforts are focused on ensuring that every sister and daughter advances with confidence and self-reliance. Initiatives such as Anganwadi creche centers, Saheli Pink Cards, Lakhpati Beti Yojana, collateral-free loans, and safe working environments are part of this broader vision. When women advance, the nation reaches new heights. This is the strongest foundation for a developed India and a developed Delhi.
