Amaravati, May 4: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his joy over the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) lead in West Bengal and Assam, as well as the potential victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He described this as a triumph of public trust and development-focused politics. Naidu praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership, stating that this mandate reflects the people’s confidence in the vision of a ‘Developed India.’
In a post on the social media platform X, Naidu stated, “Today’s NDA victory showcases the growing trust of the people in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and his vision for a ‘Developed India.’ This strengthens the NDA as a confluence of people’s aspirations, inspired by the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.’ With this outcome, our journey towards a ‘Developed India’ gains further momentum.”
He further noted, “The people’s faith and support in the NDA’s unwavering commitment to development is clearly evident. This serves as a message to all political parties that ‘Youth India’ values credibility, development, and genuine engagement with citizens.”
Naidu extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President Nitin Gadkari, all victorious NDA candidates, dedicated workers, and the citizens of the country for this historic mandate.
Meanwhile, former MP Vijaya Sai Reddy commented, “A BJP government in West Bengal will be in the nation’s interest. The first promise in the Bengal BJP manifesto is to adopt a ‘zero tolerance’ policy towards infiltration and allocate land for fencing along the India-Bangladesh border.”
He emphasized the need for a “Identify-Remove-Return” policy against Bangladeshi infiltrators/illegal immigrants, describing them as a termite to the economy. In 2019, a Bangladeshi film star campaigned for a political party in Kolkata and was later sent back, but such personal interests are weakening our borders with Bangladesh, which we cannot tolerate.
