In Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, crowds gathered at Saiyaji Gate to commemorate the Indian team’s victory. However, the festivities took a turn when fireworks were set off, resulting in injuries to a police officer.
The injured officer, Suhail Kumar from Ujjain, recounted the incident, stating that a firecracker exploded near him, causing injuries to his face and nose. He was unaware of who took him to the hospital. Another officer, Ashish, present at the hospital, confirmed that a bomb was thrown from behind, injuring Kumar on one side of his head.
