New Delhi, March 9: The CBSE Class 12 mathematics exam was conducted on Monday, eagerly awaited by students across the nation. Following the exam, many students described the question paper as balanced, with some questions deemed easy while others posed significant challenges.
One student from Northeast Delhi, Gaurav, remarked that the paper was well-structured. He noted that while some questions were straightforward, others were quite difficult. Despite this, he felt the exam met expectations.
Gaurav mentioned that all questions were from the syllabus. He had practiced most of the questions included, which helped him navigate the exam without major issues, although he did spend extra time on Section E. He expressed hope that this exam would enhance his overall performance.
Another student, Swati, found the question paper engaging. She felt that while the short questions were relatively easy, Section D was not as simple and presented a considerable challenge.
It’s important to note that many students often feel pressure regarding the CBSE mathematics exam. Ritesh, who exited an examination center in South Delhi, shared that his biggest concern was encountering questions outside the syllabus. He was also worried about overly complex questions. However, after completing the exam, he appeared relieved, stating that while some questions were indeed challenging, they were not presented in an overly complicated manner.
Teachers have described the exam as balanced. S. Rana, a teacher at a Delhi government school, stated that the question paper included a variety of questions, effectively assessing students’ preparation.
Rana emphasized that students who had thoroughly studied the entire syllabus and practiced were unlikely to face significant difficulties in this exam. Another educator, K. Sharma, noted that merely reading the subject or attending lectures is insufficient for math preparation; consistent practice is essential for achieving good scores.
He added that for students who practiced regularly, the exam was not particularly difficult. However, those with less preparation found it to be quite challenging.
Like other exams, this one was held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Many CBSE Class 12 students expressed that March 9 was a significant day for them.
Another student, Siddharth, stated that he could now focus on his remaining exams without worry. He had previously harbored various fears and misconceptions about the math exam, but after a successful performance, he felt all his anxieties had dissipated.
