Casio Unveils New Edifice EFR-575 Chronograph Watches in Europe

Amsterdam, March 28: Casio has launched three new models in its Edifice EFR-575 series in Europe, expanding on last year’s lineup. The latest additions include the EFR-575C-8A, EFR-575D-4A, and EFR-575CL-5A, each featuring distinct finishes while maintaining the same core specifications.

All three watches boast a stainless steel case with a diameter of 47.9 mm. The dials feature a standard analog layout with hour, minute, and second hands, ensuring accuracy within ±20 seconds per month. Additional functionalities include a date display, a 24-hour indicator, and dedicated sub-dials for stopwatch minutes and seconds.

The design is inspired by motorsport, characteristic of the Edifice range. Each model is fitted with a domed crystal and a slim metal bezel. On the right side of the case, three pushers facilitate the operation of the chronograph. The watches also offer water resistance up to 10 bar, making them suitable for everyday wear and light water activities.

Powering these timepieces is an SR920SW battery, expected to last around two years. The focus remains on traditional timekeeping and basic chronograph functions, without any smart features. Casio has not announced plans for availability outside Europe, including a potential release in the United States.

In terms of variants, the EFR-575C-8A features a gray gradient dial paired with a silver-tone case and strap. The EFR-575D-4A showcases a purple-to-black gradient dial with the same metal finish. The EFR-575CL-5A offers a more premium look, featuring a brown gradient dial, a gold-tone case, and a brown leather strap. Pricing starts at €129 for the EFR-575C-8A and EFR-575D-4A, while the EFR-575CL-5A is priced at €149 in markets such as the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany.
