BLA’s ‘Operation HeroF 2.0’ Gains Support from Baloch People and Leaders

Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claims to have received backing from various armed groups, political figures, and segments of the Baloch population for its ongoing ‘Operation HeroF 2.0’ against Pakistani security forces in Balochistan. According to the BLA, more than 15 hours after coordinated attacks began, its fighters continue to hold positions in multiple districts.

Jiyand Baloch, a BLA spokesperson, stated that the campaign is active in “several cities and key areas,” putting Pakistani security forces under “heavy pressure.” He claimed BLA fighters maintain control over multiple locations, with ground conditions continuously evolving.

The statement added that detailed updates and final assessments will be shared at an appropriate time as the operation progresses.

Earlier, the BLA said the “decisive role” of the Baloch nation was crucial in executing the operation. According to the group, local communities assisted by ensuring movement, communication, and ground control. This information was reported by The Balochistan Post.

The BLA said popular support helped neutralise enemy propaganda and fear tactics, enabling sustained pressure on military bases across several districts. The organisation described this public unity as a fundamental reason for the ongoing campaign and maintaining control.

‘Operation HeroF 2.0’ has also received support from the United Baloch Army (UBA), which identifies itself as a pro-independence armed group. The UBA formally announced its backing and said it would participate according to its capabilities and resources.

UBA spokesperson Mazar Baloch praised the courage, determination, and national pride of the Baloch fighters and said the group stands in “complete solidarity” with them. He called on all Baloch organisations and activists to demonstrate unity, shared strategy, and collective responsibility.

The UBA emphasised that the current conflict is not limited to any single group but represents a broader struggle for national dignity, freedom, and sovereignty over Baloch land. The organisation urged the public to socially support Baloch youth and activists wherever they are, to help transform the movement into an organised, united, and strong collective effort.

Meanwhile, exiled Baloch leader Mehran Marri also expressed support for ‘Operation HeroF 2.0’. In an interview with international media, Marri said Balochistan has entered a “very decisive phase.”

He stated that despite decades of efforts to attract international attention, the Baloch people now believe that “freedom will not be a gift from any external power.” Marri added that the Baloch are neither waiting for Donald Trump nor depending on any global power. He claimed the movement has transformed into a “national liberation struggle” involving people of all ages.

Marri described Pakistan as “unstable,” caught between the influences of China and the United States, while the Baloch continue to defend their land on the ground. He asserted that the Baloch community will secure its rights through its own struggle and sacrifices, not by relying on others.

At the start of ‘Operation HeroF 2.0’, the BLA released a video message from its Commander-in-Chief Bashir Zeb Baloch, urging people to come out of their homes and join this critical phase of the armed movement.

He said, “This struggle is not about any single individual but a collective consciousness. When a nation unites, no matter its strength, the enemy cannot avoid defeat. We urge the Baloch nation to step forward and become part of Operation HeroF.”
