Ayodhya, May 4: The atmosphere at the Siddhpeeth Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya was electric on Monday, fueled by the enthusiasm surrounding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) performance in West Bengal. Under the leadership of Mahant Raju Das, supporters celebrated with fireworks and distributed sweets and snacks.
The victory celebration at Hanumangarhi showcased the fervor of the supporters, who chanted “Jai Shri Ram” amidst the fireworks. In an interview, Mahant Raju Das emphasized that this victory is not merely an electoral win but the beginning of a cultural renaissance on Bengal’s soil.
He described this triumph as a victory for “Bhagwa and Sanatan.” Mahant Raju Das stated, “Today, we celebrate this victory at the feet of Hanuman Ji. This celebration honors the tricolor and the residents of Bengal who have upheld the pride of the saffron flag. Today marks the victory of the nation’s nationalists.”
When asked about the BJP’s performance in Puducherry and Assam, he expressed special enthusiasm for Bengal, referring to it as the land of Goddess Durga. He noted that for a long time, the sentiments of Hindus had been disregarded, and issues related to Hindutva had been overlooked.
He sharply criticized Mamata Banerjee‘s slogans, saying, “The ‘Hamba-Hamba, Damba-Damba’ rhetoric in Bengal is coming to an end. The people have chosen to reject crime, corruption, and riots in favor of healthcare, education, employment, and nationalism.”
Mahant Raju Das firmly stated that the governance of the country will now be led by those who support Hindutva and Sanatan. He targeted the opposition, asserting that those who insult Hindu deities or hurt religious sentiments will be shown the door by the public. He made it clear that the nation will move forward with respect for the tricolor and nationalism.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for this success. He added, “I congratulate all the Sanatanis and nationalists who worked tirelessly to achieve this goal. From Hanumangarhi, we want to send the message that only those who respect Sanatan will sit on the throne of governance.”
