BJPs Rahul Sinha Predicts Change in West Bengal Elections Amid Peaceful Voting

Kolkata, April 29: Voting is underway for 142 assembly seats in the second phase of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rahul Sinha cast his vote at Jadavpur Vijaygarh Education Niketan for Girls with his family. He expressed confidence that this time, a significant change is on the horizon. According to him, the Election Commission is ensuring peaceful voting, which will prevent TMC from engaging in any malpractice.

In an interview with a news agency, Sinha stated that the TMC has caused considerable distress to the public, making change inevitable this time. He noted that the people’s issues are unheard, and TMC’s goons disrupt lives without any assistance available to the citizens.

He highlighted that the first phase saw a remarkable 93% voter turnout, indicating that the public is ready for change. He anticipates even higher turnout in the second phase, thanks to the oversight of the Election Commission and central forces, which has resulted in a violence-free environment.

Targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Sinha criticized the state government for not allowing the Bengal police to perform their duties effectively. However, he acknowledged that the Kolkata police are now able to operate freely due to the presence of central forces. He thanked everyone involved for their commendable work.

Sinha also praised the central forces for assisting elderly voters to the polling stations, emphasizing that their actions are supportive rather than harmful.

Responding to allegations from TMC regarding the BJP, the Election Commission, and central forces preventing people from voting, Sinha dismissed these claims as false. He asserted that no one is being stopped from voting; rather, action is taken against those attempting to disrupt the peace.

He confidently stated that the BJP will form the government on May 4, a fact that TMC is aware of, which is why they are making desperate statements. The public has rallied behind the BJP, and this will soon be evident.
