BJP MP Highlights Indias Resilience Amid Middle East Conflict

New Delhi, March 23: BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Chevella has responded to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its implications for India. He emphasized that it is not just his desire but also the wish of the Indian populace and certainly that of Prime Minister Modi to see an end to this war.

Speaking to reporters, Reddy stated, “Most countries believe this is a senseless war, a meaningless fight between two irrational individuals. I think even Trump is beginning to realize this. I hope they will understand the reality, and for the sake of America’s interests, this war should end as soon as possible.”

Regarding the war’s effects, he noted, “If any country has managed to avoid the impacts of this war, it is India, thanks to Prime Minister Modi. We have been largely insulated from the consequences. Today, diesel prices in California have reached $6. In most parts of the United States, it exceeds $4. This is an increase of nearly 30 to 70 percent. Here, we are safe. The rise in diesel prices is not affecting our farmers, unlike farmers worldwide who rely on diesel for their tractors.”

Reddy acknowledged that LPG could become a problem. He stated, “Not immediately, but if the war continues, it could turn into an issue. The Prime Minister has plans, and we all need to cooperate. Instead of using this as a political opportunity, we should face it together. PM Modi’s policies have always prioritized ‘Nation First,’ which is why the entire country looks to him with hope.”

He added, “In times of war, it’s not just about bombs, soldiers, or navies. It’s also a financial and economic battle involving petroleum and petrodollars. PM Modi has rightly pointed out that our energy assets will now be considered strategic assets, and we will not publicly discuss them in detail, just as we do not disclose information about our weapons.”

Reddy emphasized, “Now, LPG and petroleum have become weapons, and we must secure them. We need to protect not only physical resources but also the information related to these resources.”

The BJP MP also remarked that while nearly all of Europe, South America, and others bowed to Trump and his tariff threats, PM Modi was the only leader who stood up to him. His stance has inspired others, making him a beacon for world leaders, whether from Denmark, the UK, Italy, France, or South American countries, all of whom are now looking to him.
