BJP Leader Sanjay Tandon Urges Amit Shah to Address Property Transfer Issues in Chandigarh

Sanjay Tandon met Amit Shah to discuss challenges in property transfer issues affecting Chandigarh residents.

Chandigarh, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Sanjay Tandon, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), raised concerns regarding property transfer issues in Chandigarh during a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. On November 3, Tandon highlighted the difficulties faced by residents due to restrictions on percentage-based property transfers.

In his remarks, Tandon expressed hope that his discussion with Shah would lead to a resolution of these pressing issues. He noted that residents are encountering significant challenges because current regulations complicate these transactions.

“The existing restrictions have forced people to navigate various government departments to complete their property transfers, causing unnecessary hassle,” Tandon explained. He attributed the complications to a Supreme Court ruling and subsequent orders from the Chandigarh administration that imposed limitations on percentage-based transfers.

During their conversation, Tandon provided Shah with detailed information about the problems faced by Chandigarh residents. He reported that the Home Minister assured him of prompt action to address the matter.

The discussion also encompassed broader issues related to the city’s development and public welfare. Tandon described the meeting as cordial and positive, noting that Shah extended his best wishes for the upcoming Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections and encouraged Tandon to continue his dedicated work.

Tandon emphasized the need for Shah’s intervention in matters affecting Chandigarh residents, particularly regarding property transfer issues, to alleviate administrative burdens.
