BJP Leader Ram Kadam Defends Modis Leadership Amid Congress Criticism

Mumbai, August 16: BJP leader Ram Kadam has sharply responded to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement, which accused the Modi government of jeopardizing the future of the youth. Kadam asserted that Kharge is misleading the country’s youth. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is on the path to becoming the third-largest economy in the world.

In an interview with a news agency, Kadam remarked, “Mallikarjun Kharge is now of an advanced age. Either he is misinformed, or those advising him are misleading him. Look at the infrastructure from Kashmir to Kanyakumari; roads are being constructed. Observe the advancements in railways, technology, and other sectors. India has progressed from being the 11th largest economy to the 4th largest and will soon become the 3rd largest under PM Modi’s guidance.”

He criticized Kharge for confusing the youth, stating that the younger generation is well aware of the country’s current state.

A video has gone viral on social media showing Congress leader Sonia Gandhi appearing uncomfortable during the national anthem at the Congress headquarters on Independence Day. Meanwhile, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi remarked that they decide which song to play.

Kadam stated, “Vande Mataram is a phrase, a song whose words inspired countless martyrs to embrace the gallows for the motherland. Is this not an insult to those martyrs? You refuse to sing Vande Mataram and insult it while trying to appease a specific group.”

He questioned whether, if the national anthem is not sung at the Congress headquarters, a Pakistani song would be played instead. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for tarnishing the image of Mother India abroad, asking, “If you favor our enemies, what are you doing in this country? Those who feel ashamed to say and hear Vande Mataram, do they truly love this nation? The Congress party must reflect on this, as the country is watching. The public has shown you your standing in the last three Lok Sabha elections.”

Additionally, he commemorated the death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressing his fortune in having met him closely during his youth. Kadam said, “Today marks the death anniversary of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Many historic achievements were accomplished during his tenure, including the Pokhran nuclear tests and victory in the Kargil War. I consider myself lucky to have met Atal Ji closely during my childhood and youth.”
