BJP Lawmakers Respond to Akhilesh Yadavs Remarks, Accuse SP of Anti-Hindu Sentiment

BJP lawmakers in Gonda criticize Akhilesh Yadavs comments, accusing the Samajwadi Party of disrespecting Hindu sentiments and traditions.

Gonda, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav‘s recent comments regarding the BJP’s manifesto have sparked a strong backlash from BJP lawmakers in Gonda. Yadav labeled the BJP’s manifesto as mere rhetoric and made pointed remarks about Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

BJP legislator Paltoo Ram expressed his discontent, stating, “The Samajwadi Party has always shown a poor attitude towards Hindu deities and the faith associated with Hindu temples and monasteries. By calling CM Yogi Adityanath ‘Jumlanath’, Akhilesh Yadav not only disrespects him but also insults millions of followers of the Nath sect.”

On the topic of the manifesto, Paltoo Ram asserted that the NDA and BJP’s promises are being realized on the ground. He emphasized that the BJP delivers on its commitments.

Responding to Yadav’s assertion that discussing bombs and explosives is a habit of CM Yogi, Paltoo Ram remarked that the public is well aware of the SP’s tactics and character. “When Yogi Adityanath took charge of Uttar Pradesh, mafia elements were running the state. Today, the government has worked to eliminate those mafias. Such language does not suit Akhilesh Yadav,” he added.

Another BJP member, Vinay Dwivedi, accused SP leaders of hurting Hindu sentiments. He pointed out that senior SP leader Ramji Lal Suman hosted a non-vegetarian party during Navratri, reflecting their mindset.

Dwivedi criticized the SP for making false claims while pretending to be Hindu, suggesting that their true beliefs differ from their public persona. He also took aim at Congress, mentioning a recent event in Ayodhya—a sacred location for many—where a fish party was organized.

The exchange highlights ongoing tensions between the BJP and SP in Uttar Pradesh as both parties gear up for future political battles.
