BJP Lawmakers Criticize Rahul Gandhis Parliamentary Remarks

New Delhi, February 11: BJP lawmakers have criticized Rahul Gandhi over statements he made regarding the unpublished book by former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane. They accused him of speaking without substantiation.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw targeted the Congress leader during a press interaction, stating, “India’s data is protected by a robust legal framework, governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. All sensitive sectors in India have their own regulations, and such allegations should be backed by evidence.”

Minister Prahlad Joshi also weighed in on Gandhi’s remarks, asserting, “The rules in question were established long before our Speaker Om Birla took office. These regulations have been in place since the Constitution was drafted. If he makes allegations against a member of the House, he must provide proof. If the accused is not a member, he cannot make such claims.”

Joshi emphasized that mere statements from Gandhi do not constitute proof. “He needs to have relevant documents and evidence. They seem unaware of the meaning of authenticity and rules, which is why they make baseless allegations. They lack knowledge of historical context and simply throw accusations. When someone is in the chair, they are not representing any party. They do not understand parliamentary language.”

BJP MP Ravi Kishan remarked, “The opposition consists of those who mocked Jagdeep Dhankhar. They are now ridiculing democracy. Their frustration stems from BJP’s victories, their inability to defeat Prime Minister Modi, and the country’s growing economic strength. Elections in Kerala and West Bengal appear challenging for them, and they have already lost in Uttar Pradesh, which is why they are in pain.”

MP Kangana Ranaut expressed concern, stating, “Speaker Om Birla is not present in the House. The atmosphere is deteriorating due to the noise they are creating. On Tuesday, when Parliament functioned well, they questioned why there were six lines of discussion. They had already participated in discussions about Vande Mataram.”

MP Arun Govil commented, “The song Vande Mataram is complete in itself; it embodies India’s culture and pride. It was wrong to cut its verses in the past, and now it has been corrected. This is significant for our country and culture. The level of discourse and behavior is declining due to the opposition, which has never happened before.”

MP Rekha Sharma criticized the behavior of some women in the House, saying, “It is shameless for women to leave their seats and encircle any chair, including the Prime Minister’s. If men surrounded women’s seats in the same way, what would women say? Such individuals do not deserve to be in the House. The public should teach them a lesson in the next election.”
