BJP Lawmaker Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Leadership, Claims He Wants to Lead India Down a Dangerous Path

BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana condemns Rahul Gandhis remarks, asserting they threaten Indias stability and democratic values.

New Delhi, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana has launched a fierce verbal attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of attempting to destabilize the nation with his recent statements. Speaking in New Delhi, Khatana described Gandhi’s behavior over the past ten parliamentary sessions as unworthy of the legislature and damaging to public faith.

Khatana asserted, “Rahul Gandhi wants to lead the country down the paths of Pakistan and Bangladesh. This is India, home to 1.4 billion people who are deeply connected to their land and heritage. They know how to sacrifice for the country’s interests. We are the world’s largest democracy. Rahul Gandhi has become a desperate leader, and Congress should reflect on this.”

He criticized Gandhi’s use of inappropriate language and his actions that he believes undermine the dignity of the parliamentary process. Khatana suggested that Gandhi might need a reassessment of his approach.

Regarding Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent correspondence with the Prime Minister, Khatana emphasized that communication between the opposition and the government is normal. However, he stressed that the nation is thriving under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, as the public has exercised their voting rights to choose the government. Decisions affecting the 1.4 billion citizens will be made by the government.

Khatana further commented on recent protests, indicating that feedback from security and law enforcement agencies shows that criminals have infiltrated these movements. While he acknowledged the right to protest in a democracy, he insisted that the rights of government employees, patients, business communities, and school children must also be respected. He argued that it is wrong to prioritize the rights of a few over the many.

On the topic of Neha Bora’s comments about learning from Bangladesh, Khatana criticized those he termed “intellectual Naxals,” claiming their mindset is problematic. He noted that India has made significant progress, becoming the world’s fourth-largest economy from the eleventh position. He highlighted advancements in space and major reforms, including the establishment of Digital India and the elimination of middlemen.

Khatana concluded by questioning the intentions of those who wish to weaken the country, asserting that such thinking has no place in India today.
