Jalor, August 31: Deepak Kumar Devasai, the candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been declared elected unopposed from Ward No. 11 of Bhimmal Municipality in Jalor district.
Sub-Divisional Officer Ramlal Meena confirmed that Devasai was elected unopposed after the nomination process was completed.
Reacting to his unopposed election, Devasai expressed gratitude for the public’s trust and committed to meeting their expectations. He previously served as the student union president at a local college during the 2019-20 academic session.
The BJP views this victory as a sign of increasing public support ahead of upcoming local body elections. BJP state president Madan Rathore stated that this win reflects the growing confidence of the public in the party.
He emphasized that the BJP is contesting elections based on the trust of its workers and the public, viewing elections not merely as a means to gain power but as a commitment to public service and regional development.
Rathore noted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is focused on development, good governance, transparency, and public welfare.
He asserted that voters will support the BJP’s agenda in the forthcoming municipal elections.
BJP National Secretary and State Co-In-Charge for Municipal Elections Rohan Gupta welcomed the unopposed victory, stating that the BJP represents “brotherhood, organization, and development.”
He accused the Congress party of facing internal conflicts and factionalism.
Gupta claimed that the BJP has completed the ticket distribution process in an organized and transparent manner and expressed confidence that the party will perform strongly in municipal and other local institutions.
He further asserted that the BJP will secure a majority in all local bodies in Rajasthan and form a “three-engine” government.
He predicted that the BJP’s saffron flag will fly high in all local bodies and forecasted a significant defeat for Congress in the upcoming elections. The BJP’s state media department stated that as the local body elections approach, the party’s campaign will focus on development, good governance, and public welfare.
