Patna, March 30: In Bihar, the results of the 10th-grade examinations have showcased an impressive performance by girls, setting a new benchmark for success. Notably, the achievements of these young women are backed by inspiring stories of struggle. Sabreen Parveen, who secured the joint first position, comes from a humble background where her father runs a tire puncture shop. Meanwhile, Jyoti Kumari, who ranked fourth in the state, is the daughter of a tea stall owner.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for the 10th-grade exams on Sunday. This year, three out of the top four positions were claimed by female students.
Joint first place was achieved by Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabreen Parveen from Vaishali. Nahid Sultana from Begusarai secured the second position, while Anupa Kumari from Buxar and Omkar Kumar from Begusarai shared the third spot. Notably, Omkar is the only male student among the top three. Jyoti Kumari from Samastipur took the fourth position.
Sabreen Parveen expressed her joy, stating, “I feel great. I studied in a private school for a few years. Instead of studying by the hour, I set daily goals for myself.” She mentioned that her mother manages household chores while her father operates the tire puncture shop.
Sabreen dreams of becoming a doctor and encouraged other students to study diligently, saying that with hard work, they too can achieve recognition in the state.
In another inspiring story, Jyoti Kumari, daughter of a tea vendor from the Vibhutipur area, has made her family proud by securing the fourth position in the Bihar Board 10th examination. The entire family is celebrating this achievement, and local residents have congratulated and honored Jyoti.
Jyoti attributed her success to her parents and the teachers who contributed to her education, saying, “I would like to dedicate my success first to my parents and to all the teachers who played a role in my learning.”
