
New Delhi, April 15: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan congratulated Samrat Chaudhary on his swearing-in as the new Chief Minister of Bihar. He also extended his best wishes to Bijendra Yadav and Vijay Kumar Sinha, who have taken on roles as Deputy Chief Ministers.
In his message, Pradhan expressed confidence that under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar will achieve new heights in governance, development, and public service. He emphasized that the new government will accelerate the pace of development in the state and take concrete steps to improve the living standards of the common people. Special focus will be placed on the prosperity of farmers, the empowerment of women, and the creation of more job opportunities for youth.
He stated that the government’s aim is to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach every section of society, thereby ensuring inclusive growth. He added that the dream of a developed Bihar will now be realized more effectively. The policies of the new government are expected to bring positive changes in infrastructure, education, health, and employment sectors.
Pradhan stressed that Bihar’s development plays a crucial role in the nation’s progress. Thus, the state government’s public welfare and inclusive policies will not only advance Bihar but also contribute significantly to nation-building.
It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar, who held the Chief Minister’s position for nearly two decades, resigned from the post. He took the oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha in New Delhi last Friday. The oath was administered by Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan.
Following Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in, a historic change has begun in Bihar’s political landscape. Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was a member of the Bihar Legislative Council, but after being elected to the Rajya Sabha, he resigned from the council on March 30. He was elected from Bihar to the upper house of Parliament in March and has been at the center of power in Bihar for nearly two decades.
Additionally, he is the leader of the Janata Dal United party. With his swearing-in as a Rajya Sabha member, Nitish Kumar has embarked on a new political journey starting from April 10. After returning from Delhi, he resigned from the Chief Minister’s position, leading to the formation of the new government under Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership.
