Bihars Crime Policy: No Politics in Action, Says BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal

New Delhi, May 22: Following comments from Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary regarding police encounters, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal has voiced his support. He emphasized that anyone committing crimes in Bihar will face action, asserting that this issue transcends politics.

In an interview, Jaiswal stated, “Regardless of caste, criminals will face encounters. The government has made it clear: if you commit a crime, you will be treated like a criminal. If a criminal flees after committing an offense or shoots at the police, will the police let them go? The Bihar government is determined that any criminal, irrespective of their caste, will face punishment for their actions.”

Regarding the new guidelines for Bakrid celebrations in Delhi, Jaiswal remarked, “This is a completely correct decision. Everyone should respect the sentiments of all communities and religions. Celebrate your festival well. Society must maintain brotherhood and celebrate festivals peacefully and appropriately.”

He extended warm wishes for the festival but also reminded that every Muslim has a duty to respect others, their cultures, and sentiments, particularly regarding the treatment of cows.

It is noteworthy that the Delhi government has issued strict guidelines for Bakrid. Minister Kapil Mishra clarified that the sacrifice of prohibited animals such as cows, calves, and camels during Bakrid is entirely illegal. Those who violate this law will face criminal charges and potential imprisonment.

On the Karnataka government’s decision to allocate seats for engineering and other courses separately from NEET, Jaiswal questioned, “What is the connection between engineering and NEET? Only Siddaramaiah can explain that. The Karnataka government seems unaware of this matter. Engineering has nothing to do with NEET. There should be complete transparency, and the truth must come to light.”
