Patna, August 25: Bihar’s Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, has announced plans to establish a Film City in the state. On Tuesday, BJP leader and popular actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, known as Nirahua, along with Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey, expressed their excitement about this initiative.
The actress stated that CM Samrat Chaudhary has made several announcements that favor the film industry. “I want to shoot film songs in the beautiful valleys of Rajgir,” she added.
Dinesh Lal Yadav shared his thoughts on the CM’s announcements regarding Bhojpuri film shooting and production in Bihar. “We have always wanted a Film City and Film Institute in Bihar, where children from neighboring states can learn film-related techniques and produce quality films in regional languages,” he said.
The actor believes that just as the people of Bihar have excelled in various fields, they should also make their mark in the entertainment industry. “Our dream has always been to produce films in all regional languages and gain recognition,” he remarked.
He further noted, “Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has approved the establishment of a Film City in Bihar and mentioned that a Film Institute will also be built here, allowing us to fulfill our dreams.”
The Chief Minister has urged artists to select suitable locations for the Film City. The government has already approved shooting for 54 films in the state. Historical sites like Rajgir, Bodh Gaya, Patna, and Gaya are being promoted for filming.
In addition to Bhojpuri, the government is providing subsidies and financial assistance for film production in local languages such as Maithili, Magahi, Angika, and Bajjika.
